    Hey nerds, this week was lots of fun, with the Oscars on the tubes and some hot trivia action goin' on.  Make 7up Yours showed up at full strength and took top honors.  Make 7...UP YOURS!

    1st Place - Make 7up Yours - 29 Points (Won Tiebreaker)

    2nd Place - Team BHG - 29 Points (Lost Tiebreaker)

    Mike, one of these days I'll actually take the picture while you are smiling.  I'm 0-2.  

    3rd Place - Ann & Ken - 24 Points

    2.28.10 - The Rise of Beth & Rich

    While they didn't urge anyone to save a horse and ride a cowboy (thankfully), Beth & Rich were able to take top prize at this week's trivia!  It was Beth's dedication to the internet-only question and Rich's vast knowledge of all things Van Halen that propelled them to the top spot this week.  Congrats Beth & Rich!

    1st Place - Beth & Rich - 25 points

    2nd Place - BHG - 24 points 

    3rd Place - Ranchers - 21 points

    2.21.10 - USA! USA! USA!

    Trivia got started a bit late this week, as all eyes were peeled to the many Blue Heron HD TVs while the US Men's Hockey team pulled off a huge upset against our Nickelback loving neighbors to the north.  What's that all aboot, Canada?  eh?

    The trivia action was wasn't much of a contest, with the lovely ladies of Bonfizzle (and their manager) taking top honors with a score of 33.  There was a tie for 2nd place at 22 points, with Team Balls Deep (earmuffs internets) winning the tiebreaker and Nestle taking the 3rd place consolation prize. 

    Maybe I was a bit distracted by the ladies of Bonfizzle, but Team Balls Deep and Nestle escaped before I was able to snap their pic.  Next time.  

    1st Place - Bonfizzle - 33 Points

    Congrats to all the winners, and we'll see you next Sunday night at the Blue Heron!

    1.31.10 - When Trivia Mafia Attacks...

    With over ten teams playing this week, we took over the bar with trivia. I guess this is what happens when the football season is over...

    This week we were joined by Mike McCurdy. He's learning the ropes and should be taking over soon as I'm going to stick to one night a week. No worries though - I'll still visit!!

    First place this week had a solid score of 31 points. Nice work!

    First place - Chuck's Late - 31 points

    Second place - BHG - 27 points (the two folks on the left)

    We had a tie-breaker for the third place tie, and they tied. We gave up. It's a tie. Team Beth and Rich took home the sweet Rock Star hat.

    Third place - Ken and Ann - 25 points

    Third place - Beth and Rich - 25 points (the two folks on the right)

    A note about next week - NO TRIVIA next week due to the Super Bowl. We'll resume at 8:30pm on Valentines Day. (BTW...Trivia makes a GREAT date. Just sayin'.)

    1.24.10 - Vikings vs. Trivia

    Today's loss to the Saints sucked.

    And that's all I'm going to say about that.

    Trivia works as a great coping mechanism, and I'm pretty sure our first and second place teams feel the same way.

    After three months of trivia at the Blue Heron Grill, Make 7 Up Yours FINALLY took first place. With an impressive score of 27 points, they won a gift card to the Blue Heron Grill. Hopefully, they can maintain their title next week.

    First place - Make 7 Up Yours - 27 points

    Second place - McSisters - 21 points
