2.1 Obscure Groundhogs

20 teams tackled trivia on Wednesday night. Not only was it the first day of February it was also the eve of Groundhogs Day, the most obscure of Holidays. Teams were also asked about obscurities surrounding Pi Day, International Talk Like A Pirate Day, and Earth Day.  Trivia this week saw the return of Kitty Kitty Purr to the top three, the last time they secured a top place was October. Well done! Team SpaceAss also had a big return to the top.

2.1 Cafeteria First Place: Mike aka Team SpaceAss is a happy camper not only did his team score a perfect paper to take first, it was also his Birthday! Happy Birthday Michael! So glad you spent your big day with Trivia Mafia!

2.1 Cafeteria Second Place: Team Kitty Kitty Purr is back the lead after a long long kitten nap, the nap may have been refreshing but it was in a big bed of loosing. Way to shock that kitten awake by scoring 42/45. Enjoy your round of free drinks!

2.1 Cafeteria Third Place: Team Best Losing Winner put their name to the test and scored 41/45 points then dominated over team Brolaxation in a tie breaker for third and $10 to Half Priced Books. Nice Helmet!

1.25 Aunts and Uncles

27 teams descended on Cafeteria this Wednesday night to partake in Study Hall. Even Aunt Jemima/Mrs Butterworth The Cafeteria version of a sugary pancake topper showed up for the fun, Uncle Ben  god rest his soul, was there in spirit.

We had some familiar faces return to the winners circle; Pizzly Bears and Thirteenth Grade nice to see you. A shout out and cheers needs to be given to the 4 teams that scored 42/45 and tied for 4th hooray to Teamocil, Llama llama Woof, Chandler Bing Crosby Stills... and The Ramblers! Take a look at the top teams below. If this were a wedding cake they would all be the plastic brides and grooms with corny smiles painted on their faces on the top of the cake!

1.25 Cafeteria First Place: Team Pizzly Bears regained their top spot by scoring 45/45 points and taking down the other 26 teams! Well done and glad to see you on top again, enjoy your $50 to Cafeteria!

1.25 Cafeteria Second Place: Team Thirteenth Grade took a top spot after taking a break from the winners board for a few weeks. These two scored 43/45 points and earned themselves a round of drinks at Cafeteria! Cheers

1.25 Cafeteria Third Place: Team EMan Meat (Team name backwards) scored 42 points and partook in the 4 way tie breaker for third place and a $10 Giftcard to Half Priced Books. I think this team should have been called 3 Tall Guys and One Short. Well done fellas!

1.18 Falafels

23 Teams turned out to partake in the regular Wednesday Night trivia ritual. We had a bit of  a lower scoring night. Our top score was 41/45 and a 38 would have gotten you third. Check out the top teams below.

1.18 Cafeteria First Place: Team Brolaxation up from last week's Third Place win, this team of bros scored 41/45 points and dominated over the other 22 teams at trivia last night. Well done and remember.... Falafel it's the other tasty ball.

1.11 medical police and general existence

The Second Study Hall of the new year continued on the path of large team numbers, 27 teams filled Cafeteria to the brim. Teams were challenged with rounds about things that no longer exist, world police, medical prefixes, hats and matching monuments with their heights. Check out the top three teams below.

1.4 New Year

A new calendar year is upon us and a new year of Study Hall at Cafeteria has begun.  We experienced a record high number of teams in December with 30 teams playing on the 28th, this week we keep the high going with 29 teams competing for the top prizes of $50 to Cafeteria, a round of drinks, and $10 to Half Priced Books. Cafeteria First Place: Even after showing up late Team Low Ballers were victorious and crushed the 28 opposing teams. Well done cheers to you and your $50 gift card to Cafeteria.

1.4 Cafeteria Second Place: The day Michele Bachmann dropped out of the presidential race, this team decided to honor her by naming their team Forgetting Michele Bachmann. It seems that when you honor quitters good things happen, like second place and a round of drinks for your entire team. Well done FMB!
