Allright Bloomington. I got a new phone, I got a new jam, and I'm back up to date. Wait until I get this Ipad and soon you'll be crying your eyes out with my speed on these blogs. I guess you guys really had a good time this week, everyone was partying and smiling. And I found out why Bullet Proof Milk really wants me to come out to trivia. . .it's for me to DJ their wedding. And I'm down with that, when you guys get married I am going to play the following jams:

And you know what MN Fan pulled down 27 heading up ahead of NACL by one point to grab the win. Well done MN Fan. And after MN Fan almost died trying to race to a tiebreaker a couple weeks ago . . .he earned this win. For real.

But, let's be fair. NaCL is never far behind and these guys need their props. 26 points. That means if they had checked out the Internet Only Question they'd be in it to win it and they'd never stop winning it.

And Bulletproof Milk, a close and respectable 24 pulled it out. Keeping it real! And congratulations on the engagement. That's a big big big deal!

Here at Bloomington Green Mill we have some fantastic prizes. The most exciting one is new untraceable license plates. These license plates were all taken off of Denny Hecker's collection of cars and some fool in Jamaica is paying taxes on these cars so you can just party up in Bloomington with Trivia Mafia. You know who decided to do that? Nacl did, they like to be called Table Salt, but I'm impressed by their clever name, so let's call em NaCL. We love ya.

You got 26 points! that's bananas.

And, my man Pawn came back into the game after a hard semester at college and let me tell you. . .this guy is a walking advertisement for dropping back into college. This guy fell in with a sick score and showed that he's been reading those books!

Pawn = 24 points. Now that's pretty sick for a solo gig!

And PJack held it down with 23 points. That's North Dakota talking right there. Props to you guys, and we'll miss you until the bosses bring you back!

Bloomington Green Mill! I am making amends to you after two long of me being a half bit trivia host. I will now also be a half bit trivia blogger as I get some beautiful photos up of the usual suspects. I'm coming clean and keeping it real for this month worth of blog justice. Bloomington deserves it. So this photo set comes from just a couple days after the 4th of July. We were keeping it real running great trivia. Do I remember who won or what the scores were? That, I'm not sure of, I don't want to lie to you. I want show you pictures.

MN FAN - you are a wonderful team. Well played, well behaved, and endowed with an owl like intelligence. We salute you!

Mr. Sean had a gig tonight so I gladly stepped in and said woooooop. People got scared so I stopped screaming. I was still excited though so I kept a sh*t eating grin on my face all night. Anyhow, 11 teams showed up and we ended up with a 3 way tie at 25 points a piece for 2nd and 3rd place. It was so INSANE. I almost spit up my dinner I was so amped about it. Here's how it all shook out.

1st Place - Foxy Roxy - 26 points

2nd Place - (tie breaker) - NaCl (Salt) - 25 points

3rd Place - MN FAN - 25 points

Hi! Lindsay fillin' in for Sean this week. I haven't been back to GMB (Green Mill Bloomington) in quite a while, so it was lovely to be back in action.

I consider June 1st the official open for summer trivia, so welcome to summer trivia season. We started it off in the right way with a good old-fashioned tie-breaker.

First place - The Brewsers - 27 points

Second place - Foxy, Roxy, and Sunshine - 21 points (tie-breaker winner)

Third place - NaCl - 21 points

Dead Heat in a Cold Green Mill - 05/25/10

Folks, tonight was nice. We saw D&D really stand up and own that 3rd place point. They fought through their love of Magic Cards to actually interact with rest of the world and they cracked me up the whole time. I couldn't get enough of it! Thanks so much guys! And we hit another week with the war between MN FAN and Foxy Roxy still raging out of control. Well played by everyone I must say.

1st (25 pts) went to MN FAN who really earns his keep as a solo or duo soldier. Well played!

Camera shy, but with brains from here to Farmington Foxy Roxy held it down with a second place. They made a good guess on the T-Wolves question, just not quite as spot on as MN FAN.

And coming in 3rd was the good new homies D&D with 22 points. Welcome to the family dudes.

My Racquetball Friend Never To Be and the Dominance of Theater People!

Well, Todd was too afraid to play racquetball. He saw my impressive physique and new his puny muscles were nothing for my strength. In fact, he got some worked up about it he is moving to Arizona to distance himself from the whole sordid affair. We wish you luck Todd! Just wait til I get to Arizona. Although I'm not sure I'll be making it to Arizona anytime soon, props to Toki Wright on that one. (check this here)

But tonight was a show down throw down trivia on the low down. We had a great team from Toronto who knows more about the United States than a lot of folks. Keeping it real. Way to go Canada. I gave relentless grief to Jamestown, ND residents who did a great job and Team Rhino got all jealous cause I didn't sing to them, but I'll make it up to them. Trust me though, I can't rap. Don't believe me? Check this (check this here). The only comments on it were "yoo Suck" and the other comment was "hell yes". Sorry to be so self-centered. Let's get real.

NACL brought home the 24 points. Now the challenge is to try to top 24 points! Good luck!

And coming in second were the Theater People. They've come to trivia a lot, but they haven't placed yet. Very well done!

19 points and the tiebreaker winner. And coming in 3rd were Team Rhino with 19 points and the tiebreaker loser. Let's check these no racquetball playing characters out.

Well done. And all racquetball aside we will miss you Todd.

Bloomington, let's battle racquetball style, 5/11/10

Allright, I asked and I received. I wanted some new folks to do Trivia Battle with. And no sooner had I started crossing my fingers then a bunch of awesome folks rolled in to start dominating trivia. They are called Trivia Rhino and they can do no wrong. Maybe I'm going to far, but I like them. And I challenge Todd/Scott to a rousing game of racquetball before next week. Read my lips. That's on the real. But I digress. These guys held it down Team Rhino. 1st Place. 24 points. A nice showing to be certain!

We then had a big tiebreaker between BulletProof Milk (welcome home!), Foxy Roxy (welcome home) and Dobie. Dobie landed that second place and got a $10 gift certificate from Half Price Books. Thanks HPB!

BUt I forgot to take their photo, so you will have to enjoy a photo of them from when they were made at me for some very difficult questions. Trust me, they got over it and they love me again!

And Foxy Roxy and Mike had a good showing! Welcome back and nice nice work. I'm honored to know you cats! They lost the tiebreaker to take 3rd. Who knew how much of this Earth is covered in grass? 25% of the land coverage. What a trip!

Bloomington, let's Battle 5/4/10

Okay, we need to break up some of these dynasties in Bloomington. It's too crazy to see NACL always winning, Foxy Roxy rocking second, MNFAN rocking 1st or 2nd. Let's spread the word, I want to see some battles. Bring it on Bloomington! I have high hopes for THe Toads, who changed their name to Team Jenni & Jonelle!

Team NACL pulled down 26 points. Well played!

Team Shaft came in and hit it with 24 points. This was their first time at trivia!

Add Jenni and Jonelle edged out the competition in a nail biting tiebreaker for 3rd with 23 points!

The Truth about Bloomington 4/27

Well, it was a nice week. We had a lot of big teams who came out thanks to my ballerific performance at the Current that morning. It was a real pleasure to have you all down and welcome. The competition was heavy and the 2nd place winner was a team visiting for the first time. They went to Gustavus and Stout and are from Lakeville. I love Gustavus. They are called the Toads and I love their style. I one time fell completely asleep at a house party there and woke up and the party was completely over. Did I just say that out loud and on the internet? Okay. People seem to know their Confederacy States pretty well in Bloomington. But MNFAN took those college girls and boys to school when it came to the size of a baseball diamond. #1, the non-stop dynasty MNFAN. Pay tribute to the 28 point heavies.

The Toads put on a strong showing, these are the college folks I was talking about before. They pulled down 28 points as well but they lost the tiebreaker.

And old faithful, Timmy and Sean held it down non-stop with the third place. But just one point away. 27 points. Well done!

Thanks Bloomington. We can't stop rocking you!
