      3/11 Recap

Hello neighbor, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. God bless Fred Rogers! Anyway, it was a solid week of trivia, with a new champ in the form of Rob Greg and Jess. They threwdown an impressive 32 points in their debut, making them the only team to crack thirty. Here's how the rest of the scores broke down.

1st- Rob, Greg, and Jess: 32 pts

2nd- Mike and Lindsay: 28 pts

      3rd- Team Suckit: 26 pts

4th- Lock and Load: 24 pts

I gotta give it up to my man from Fighting Mongooses for lone wolfing it last week and still scoring 20 points despite lacking a firm knowledge of Jeff Bridges films. Well played. It was good to see a lot of new teams mixed with regulars. Tonight I throw down the gauntlet and say who among you will take down the lads from Poopskidkid the next time they join us, who? They are a force to be reckoned with, but I know you guys have it in you. The Bonus Round this week is gonna be National Parks. I'm gonna give you ten National Parks, you need to give me the state where they are located. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I'll provide an answer bank. I guess we'll wait and see.

Your free answer for the week is...The Cranberries, and no the question is not What shitty Irish bands lead singer sounds like a dying giraffe. Until tomorrow, I bid you a Happy St. Pat's ( even though it's on Wednesday ) and in the words of my favorite punk band Against Me! " just like James I'll be drinking Irish tonight! " Here's a shot of good old John Jameson to all of you, thanks for making it a great first year of Trivia Mafia at the Green Mill in Eagan. Peace.

      Colin
