Before I announce the winners, here are some puzzlers to bring to the table tonight:

#1 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan is known for having some strange pets. Max and Sugar, his two dogs, are one of three new breeds recognized by the AKC in 2010. What breed are they?

#2 In royal psychology news, a Bavarian princess suffered from a fixation with cleanliness among other maladies, but the strangest one was the delusion that she has swallowed a grand piano made of glass as a child and it was stuck inside of her. Who was this peculiar princess?

Winners!

First place, with the magic number of 42 points:Lock and Load!

I've got another double dose of questions this week:

#1 Who was the first president to have a recorded assassination attempt against him?

#2 A prolific science fiction writer has a book published in each of the Dewey Decimal System's 10 major library classifications. Who was that author?

And now for your winners:

In first with 43 points, the reigning champions, Anne Frank's Hide and Seek Club

Before I get to the bonus questions, I have a brief public service announcement:

It's printed at the bottom of every trivia sheet, "Use your noodle, not your google," and yet I've caught someone cheating two weeks in a row. If we used the microphone at trivia, I'm sure a public shaming would be enough, but I'm stuck disqualifying them instead.

And now for your bonus questions:

#1 In light of the recent upset between Baltimore and New England, Ravens fans are doing a lot of CORFing, which stands for "Cutting Off Reflected Failure." What's the opposite of CORFing? I'll accept either the acronym or what it stands for.

#2 I'm a huge fan of zombie movies. If the Zombie Apocalypse were to have occurred during the 2010 state of the union address, wiping out all in attendance, who would have succeeded as President of the United States? Hint, it's not Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan, although he was the designated survivor.

And now for your winners:

In first, with an impressive 38 points, Anne Frank's Hide and Seek Club

I can't sing your trivia praise enough. Our two juggernaut teams came within one point of each other this week and I know it's going to be close tonight. Before that, here are a couple of questions for y'all:

#1 The man you see below is one of the most unfortunately named characters in the Star Wars universe. What is his name?

#2 Before it was used in Harry Potter, the term "muggle" had seedier connotations. What did it refer to?

Here are your winners:

In first place, Anne Frank's Hide and Seek Club regained number one with 39 points.

So, with all of us ready to kill our New Year's Resolutions before we start, here are a few questions for tonight:

#1 In February of last year, an altercation on a bus was captured on video. The man in the video was nicknamed "Epic Beard Man" by internet comments. Now, we all get to enjoy the film Bad Ass based on the incident. Who plays Epic Beard Man in the movie?

1st Place: The guys at Anne Frank's Hide and Seek Club. They must've been sore after the loss in the previous week, because they brought a few extra team members this week.

It'll Get Ya!</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.triviamafia.com/green-mill-eagan/2011/12/6/that-mega-round-itll-get-ya.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

My second week with the Eagan crew was a blast and I can't wait to get started with the third week. You're all such talented triva players and the competition is starting to get tough. Let me give my regulars a little help this week with a few blog questions:

#1 Ski hills around Minnesota were finally able to stay open for longer than a few days this week. What type of downhill or alpine skiing uses a binding that only connects the boot to the ski at the toes, allowing the heel to lift up for turns?

#2 What is the full name of Bart Simpson's best friend? Please include a middle name with your answer.

Don't forget the internet only question as well!

Now, how about we showcase your beautiful mugs. In first place is Anne Frank's Hide and Seek Club:

And following them in second place was Figure it Out, Nerd!

And in third place, short a few players, is Lock and Load

With fourth place, Team USA. They actually had two more members but they left before I could grab a photo.

Hopefully, I remembered the correct order of teams, if not, call me over tonight and we'll have words with each other, or I'll just fix it later tonight.

Until tonight,
