2.18 - ssssshort programs are much harder than you think

Laid back Thursday night. Only 9 teams made their way to Green Mill. We all had fun anyway. Don't you worry. I know you were worried. Bloomington was well represented even though we were in Eden Prairie. Yeah. Don't miss out next week as my friend and yours - Andrea - will be taking over for ONE WEEK ONLY! I'm on vacation - so show her a good time and I'm sure she'll oblige and return the favor.

1st Place - Inverted Two-Man Skeleton - 30 points. (We're all happy except one of us)

2nd Place - Deep Throat - 28 Points

3rd Place - Her M.A. - 25 Points

Thanks for coming out to Trivia. You sure do make it fun. Even with a small crowd. Love it all the same. 8 teams took part in the action making it all the more competitive.

1st place was Tom's Coming Back A Man who just barely edged Deep Throat by 1/2 a point. Congrats and best of luck to Tom.

2nd place with smiles on their face was Deep Throat. This team is a machine. Always placing in the top 3. Give it up!

Nasty J brought up the rear with 21.5 points and a bottle of wine! Not bad for 3rd place. Weeee!

6.11 - Wooop

It's hard to capture the excitement that goes on every Thursday in Eden Prairie. That is, unless you experience it for yourself, you will never know. You can't believe how wild everyone gets. It makes me so proud to see everyone getting into their weekly trivia match. Like the feeling a father gets watching his son get his first hit in teeball. Or like a mother watching her daughter's premiere piano recital. Like that time we all hung out together and drank beer and answered questions that you were suprised you knew the answer to. Yeah, it's like that. And we do it every week.

We had a tiebreaker this week for first and second place at 24.5 points. It pays to know how many times the word JUMP is used in the famous song by Kriss Kross.

1st Place with 24.5 points and guessing that JUMP was used 40 times in the song JUMP by KRISS KROSS was CLEM. Taking home a Green Mill Gift Card for $25.

2nd Place also with 24.5 points but falling short in the tie breaker question was Shaved Cat. Taking home a Half Price Books gift card and 2 vouchers to see any performance over at the Brave New Workshop.

3rd Place with 23.5 points was Team Perfidious. They have been placing in the top 3 the past few weeks and really thought they had a shot at it this week - only off by 1 point folks - I have faith this week will be yours.

not a bad third place prize from Green Mill's random bar swag - they took home a bottle of wine and some bottle openers which may or may not have been the same ones they won last week. quite the presentation of the bottle too, don't you think?
