1st went to Rickey Henderson in a controversial victory, complete with a three-way tiebreaker! 43/50!A rival team felt that this gentleman may not be on the level. Rickey Henderson has played (and done well) at enough weeks of SP GM trivia that I've concluded he's just a Gwar/Dragon Ball Z-t-shirt wearing savant. However, I'd be pretty pissed if my team lost to him, that cocky scoundrel. Btw, he knew the exact answer to the tiebreaker question about the number of planets in the Milky Way galaxy (50 bil). He made it crystal clear that he read it in Playboy recently. Cocky scoundrel. Hmm, maybe I'll hire a couple monitors to watch him next week...naaaahhhh.

2nd went to Clank!Be careful with that pencil, sir!

And 3rd went to Highlanders!There can be only six! Yes, this is the umpteenth time I've made that Highlander joke. It's gold every time, I tells you.

1st went to an abridged Jeff Mittens, with an astonishing 49 out of 50 points! They had the IOQ, fyi.That means they only had two incorrect answers, people! What do they feed you guys at those campaign headquarters?

2nd went to Salmon of Knowledge with a pant-ploppin' 48 points!Btw, when is Joe Sr. gonna make it to the Mill?

And 3rd went to tiebreaker victors The Talls, with 45 points!If my non-existent records are correct, this is their first time in the top three since....June 22!?! Has it really been six months, Talls? Jeepers Christ! As John Sebastian was once fond of saying, "welcome back, welcome back, welcome back"!

Second went to tiebreaker victors Highlanders! 43 outta 50!We haven't seen this posse in months! The lass on the right had the closer guess as to the number of husbands had by Linda "Hungry like the" Wolfe - the most married woman.23 husbands! Apparently those are the only four worth the sentimentality. Wow, looks like she even bagged a Williamsburg hipster hubby!

And third goes to You Might Die Tomorrow!Gee, I guess so. Anything's possible, I guess. We're not owed tomorrow...none of us. Crap, what a ponderous team.

SP GM 11/29: Hottest Fourway EVER

We had a fourway tie for first place this week! Besides having the exact same score, all four were the only teams in the joint to ace the hair bands image round!

First place went to Debt Ceiling Fan!Jeremy was DCF's rep, and he was only one year off when asked about the peak sales year of Aquanet hairspray (1985, of course). And thanks to Jeremy for submitting one of his old aquaneted yearbook photos.

Second went to Mid Wife Crisis! They won a second tiebreaker showdown!They were by far the youngest team to ace the hair band image round! This trio also holds the distinction of being illegitimate children of Twisted Sister's Dee Snider.Perhaps the most effective visual ipecac on the market.

And third went to Clank!Guess which one fouled up the tiebreaker!

Team Salmon of Knowledge were the odd team out, and won the prizeless fourth place spot. They won third last week! I swear!
