9/8: Palindromes: Won't lovers revolt now?

  Howdy folks! Put on the coffee, grab an afghan, and plop into that old hickory chair, cuz I'm going to regale you with tales from last night's trivia competition:

  To start with, we had twenty (!) teams playing last night, and like last week, the folks at the top of the heap were a team of two that came to play for a reduced bar tab.  Some other notable events of the evening included TWO round of general trivia knowledge, cheap beer slogans ("The beer that made Milwaukee famous." was the king-maker, only two teams correctly answered Schlitz), and a frustrating palindrome image round.  Seriously, the front of the sheet was pretty close all around, but those that scored 6 or more on the palindromes found themselves sitting pretty by the end of the evening.

  Finally, as has been of the case every single week, the Internet Only Question proved essential to the top teams' scores (despite some controversy about the name of the first starship captain).
